A Chat with Enrique Lizaso Olmos: Founder and CEO of Multiverse Computing; member of the Governing Board at the European Quantum Industry Consortium (QuIC); past Deputy CEO of Unnim Ba

This week, Stephen Ibaraki has an exclusive interview with Enrique Lizaso Olmos.

Enrique Lizaso Olmos is the founder and CEO of Multiverse Computing, the largest quantum company in EU and one of the 100 most promising companies in AI in the world in 2023, according to CB Insights.

Enrique is the current treasurer, a member of the leadership team and member of the Governing Board at the European Quantum Industry Consortium (QuIC), and co-lead of the SMEs & Funding Workgroup of QuIC. He also is a member of the Quantum World Association.

His previous experience with startup companies includes BlockTac (blockchain) and OmnixHealth (international health insurance), among others.

Enrique is a former Deputy CEO of Unnim Bank with more than 20 years in finance and banking. He is a former professor of Engineering and Statistics, Finance and Marketing at the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona. He has a bachelor's degree in mathematics (University of Barcelona), a computer engineering degree (UNED), M.D. (University of Navarra), a PhD (University of Barcelona), and an MBA (IESE).

In his spare time, Enrique flies private planes and serves as vice president and treasurer at the Barcelona Flight School.
