This week, Stephen Ibaraki has an exclusive interview with David C. Rhew, MD.

As Global CMO, David has served as Microsoft's International Coordinator for the Pandemic Response, working with WHO to develop their World Health Data Hub, CDC to standup their vaccine data lake, and U.S. states to roll-out COVID-19 vaccines.

He has pioneered the development of evidence-based order sets in EHRs while at Zynx Health and home-based cardiac rehab while at Samsung. He holds six U.S. technology patents that enable authoring, mapping, and integration of clinical decision support into electronic health records.

He has sat on National Quality Forum's Executive CSAC Board; is Chair-emeritus for Consumer Technology Association's Health Technology Board; and serves on the Executive Advisory Board for AdvaMed Digital Health and NESTcc (medical device advisory for FDA, CMS, & NIH).

He is Adjunct Professor at Stanford University; been recognized as one of the 100 most influential by Modern Healthcare; and spoken at the Vatican on how technology impacts global healthcare.
