This week, Stephen Ibaraki has an exclusive interview with Sabina Posadziejewski, FCIPS, MBA, COES, BRMP, CGEIT, ISP/ITCP.
Sabina is a seasoned executive leader in Information Management and Technology (IMT), having served both the public and private sectors. This included a variety of industries across Canada, the USA, and Europe with Scandinavia early in her career. She is now leading her own practice Bodacious Excellence since retiring from the public service. She has recently been appointed as the Fractional CEO for the Canadian Information Procession Society to lead a national transformation.
She was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the People, Families, and Communities sector in the Government of Alberta, serving the ministries of Children's Services, Community and Social Services, and Seniors and Housing. She is the former CIO of Western Economic Diversification Canada, and Regional Executive for Western and Northern Canada with Shared Services Canada (Government of Canada). Sabina also has twenty years of experience in the private sector in multiple vertical markets.
She achieved her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Alberta (1980) and followed later with an executive MBA from Canada's leading School of Business, Queen's University in 2000. Sabina also maintains the following professional certifications
