Driven by the critical global issue of water scarcity, Maria founded and established Earth05, a non-profit venture committed to fostering co-creation at the Water, Energy, and Food Security nexus within the "Age of AI." She also designed the world's first co-creation Prize, promoting open innovation and the application of digital twin technologies in the metaverse as a precursor to their real-world deployment.
Her career spans Europe and the Middle East. Maria has adopted an ethos greatly influenced by her considerable time in Sweden - her second home. Her expertise extends to water waste management and IoT technologies, a result of her involvement in smart cities projects with deployments over 300 cities. Maria is dedicated to advancing water rights - conservation, and ethical AI. With her extensive skills and international network, she champions purposeful regulations that prioritize humanity's needs, striving for a world where humans and humanoids coexist in harmony. She is currently writing her first book, blending her narrative as a woman in tech with science fiction visions, anticipated to be published in 2026.
