Yanni Ching is the co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Entomal Biotech, a pioneering company transforming waste into valuable resources using black soldier fly larvae technology. As one of the Top Nominees for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2024, Yanni's leadership has driven Entomal to achieve remarkable milestones, including being named a Global Top 50 Deep Tech Startup, Grand Winner of Asian Entrepreneurship Awards, Petronas FutureTech 3.0 and Winner and Crowd Favourite at Tech In Asia KL. Honoured as a Tatler Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow 2024 and a 20 Under 40 Food Systems Change Maker, Yanni is also dedicated to empowering women in agrifood tech through the Women Impact Network, which she co-founded. Passionate about sustainability and impactful innovation, Yanni continues to lead change in the biotech and agrifood sectors.

With a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Doctorate in Contemporary Business Administration, Yanni brings a unique combination of technical expertise and business acumen to the table.

Her leadership and vision have been instrumental in shaping Entomal Biotech into an industry leader, offering innovative solutions like black soldier fly (BSF) technology to convert food waste into high-protein animal feed and organic fertilizers.
