A Chat with Jacqueline Henle: Vice Department Manager of Embedded Systems and Sensors Engineering at FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik

This week, Stephen Ibaraki has an exclusive interview with Jacqueline Henle.

Jacqueline HenleJacqueline Henle studied Industrial Engineering and Management at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). During her studies, the focus was already on economic and engineering challenges in the automotive industry. Various practical experiences in this field complemented her knowledge.

She has been working in the Embedded Systems and Sensors Engineering department since 2019 and is the vice department manager of the Automotive Systems Engineering department since 2023. She is particularly concerned with development processes and methods for automotive electrical-electronic architectures. Service-oriented architectures and their development in the field of tension between standardization and innovation are an important part of her research. Jacqueline's work focuses on processes and methods that enable data-based, secure and flexible OTA updates.
