This week, Stephen Ibaraki has an exclusive interview with Bhak Tanta-Nanta.

Bhak Tanta-NantaBhak specializes in data driven transformation and has managed global and regional projects for the most respected companies in the large retail, CPG, Tech, Telecom, Luxury, Finance, QSR, Insurance and Pharma industries. He provides global strategic direction and coordination to various regions and countries and ensures integrity in execution and optimization.

As the Deputy CEO of T&B Media Global, Bhak helps lead a trans-national entertainment company that has specialized holdings in talent management, live action and animated content production, IP management, content distribution in Thailand and Southeast Asia, concert and event promotion, toy production and new media and technology platforms.

In 2017, Bhak joined T&B Media Global in Thailand after having worked in NYC in the world's largest media agencies for fifteen years. Bhak's work in media also allowed him to incorporate his personal passion for volunteer work into the corporate world by providing opportunities for the under-employed to train and find meaningful careers within the media industry. Upon his serendipitous meeting with T&B's founders, Dr. Jwanwat and Thippaporn Ahriyavraromp he learned about their social-first business models and the rest is history.

At T&B, Bhak has helped lead the growth and transformation of a Thai company into a regional entity. His work includes developing projects for both Western and Eastern markets and has produced films with the world's leading talents including Jackie Chan, John Cena, Anjelica Huston, Jean Reno and Noah Schnapp.

As a social-business, T&B's sustained growth is important as a portion of its profits go to support the various non-profit organizations that T&B's family of companies support, which include schooling for over 11,000 orphans, educational programs for people without citizenship along the borders of Thailand, and the Blue Carbon Society, a non-profit that supports the preservation of coastal ecosystems around Thailand.

In his spare time, Bhak makes non-profit documentaries and is a volunteer firefighter.

From documentaries that bring awareness and defense of children's rights in schools in Massachusetts to creating a documentary that promotes Ballroom dancing (produced in conjunction with Boston University, Harvard University, Tufts University, and MIT) to a documentary to help raise funds for the Count Basie Theatre in New Jersey, Bhak enjoys giving the underdog a voice. In 2014, Bhak received a valor award for rescuing a woman and her son from an apartment fire.
