A Chat with Quintin Smith: "Engineering the Future: Quintin Smith's Honors Journey in Aerospace and Defense, Recognized for Excellence in Robotics and STEM Innovation"

This week, Stephen Ibaraki has an exclusive interview with Quintin Smith.

Quintin SmithQuintin Smith is an honors student in the Sci-Tech program at Port Credit Secondary School. He has enhanced his education with courses on aerodynamics, engineering physics, and robotic design at the University of Toronto Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering Outreach.

Quintin has strong skills in CAD, robot building, programming, and mechanical system design, combining technical expertise with strategic thinking developed through robotic competitions and extracurricular STEM activities. He seeks co-op opportunities in the aerospace and defense sectors, targeting leaders like Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, and BAE Systems. Outside academics, Quintin trains in karate and plays the saxophone, showcasing his discipline and creativity. He is committed to making impactful contributions in the aerospace and defense fields.
