A Chat with Eric Vest, Serial Tech Entrepreneur

This week, Stephen Ibaraki has an exclusive interview with Eric Vest.

Eric VestEric Vest is a serial tech entrepreneur. A native of London, Ohio and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Medieval Literature, Eric has started and sold three tech companies. The first was an e-commerce company during the original dot com boom. The second was a software platform in the pharmaceutical R&D space. And the last company was a system integration firm in the world of laboratory informatics.

In 2013, Eric started to separate from the last acquirer and joined the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). He is very involved both locally and internationally in YPO and has taken on leadership roles with both the Philadelphia chapter and the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Network, which spans all chapters globally.

Now with the time, capital, and network, Eric searched for a big idea that could change the future and a have a tangible, beneficial impact on peoples’ lives. After two years of active exploration, Eric started his fourth company, which uses AI to create a FICO credit score-like metric for employment that enables people to see where they truly stand professionally, explore different career paths, and bring clarity and objectivity to the job market.
