Nadia Hewett: Project Lead, Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology - World Economic Forum's Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution

This week, Stephen Ibaraki has an exclusive interview with Nadia Hewett.

Nadia HewettNadia Hewett is a business professional with unique combination of experiences with Global Fortune 100 company in strategy, international management, supply chain logistics, innovation and optimization. She has an extensive international network - lived and worked in Asia, Africa, Europe and the last eight years the Americas.

She currently is the project lead for Blockchain and Distributed Ledger at the World Economic Forum’s Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Her team works on projects aiming to support the building and testing of policy frameworks to accelerate the societal benefits of, and mitigate the risks from, distributed ledger technology.

She previously held a position with Maersk and IBM’s blockchain technology solution “TradeLens”, participated in the digitization of the global supply chain industry, owned a $110M+ revenue product portfolio for a leading logistics company and worked with Chinese State Owned Enterprises on big infrastructure projects in Afirca.

She is proudly South African, a passionate globetrotter, public speaker and have trekked four of the world’s highest mountain ranges. She has a B.A. from Stellenbosch University, South Africa and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management.
